As Good As Dead by Holly Jackson is the third book in the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series. In this book, Pip is about to go to college, but she is haunted by the events of her last investigation. Since the launch of her podcast, she's gotten used to threats, but she is disturbed by an anonymous message she keeps receiving: Who will look for you when you’re the one who disappears? Soon, she realizes that she is being stalked in real life, and as she digs deeper, she finds connections to a local serial killer caught six years ago. Now, she is caught in yet another deadly game, where losing means losing her life. Right away, I loved the way the author used the events of this book to bring the story full circle. There were minor details from the first two cases that became important in this one, which made me appreciate how much effort Jackson put into this series. The plot was very well written and thought out, and it went in a completely different direction than what I was expecting, making it hard to stop reading. I also really liked how the author described Pip’s troubled mental state following the first two books; it made her seem like  a very relatable and realistic character. Additionally, her relationship with Ravi was explored further in this book, which made me like both characters even more. Finally, this book really made me think about morality and what doing the right thing really means, which was really interesting. Overall, this was an incredible ending to one of my favorite trilogies! If you enjoy true crime or mystery, I wouldn’t recommend this series enough! I would give this one a 9.9/10!
